Keith Looby is an Australian artist who has won several awards including the Archibald Prize, the Blake Prize for Religious Art, and the Sulman Prize. He was also named Canberra Artist of the Year in 1992. He has exhibited at various galleries including Bruce Heiser Gallery in Brisbane, Damien Minton Gallery in Sydney, and Solander Gallery in Canberra. Looby attended the National Art School in Sydney and travelled throughout Europe and the United Kingdom visiting galleries and museums while continuing to paint. He held his first solo exhibition in Rome in 1964 and a second exhibition in Turin in 1965. He lives with his partner on Sydney’s lower north shore.
