Ignacio Marmol

Ignacio Marmol (1934 - 1994) was born in Spain in 1934 and received his education from the School of Arts & Crafts, the Royal Academy of Ceramics, and the Academy of San Fernando in Madrid. He travelled to Italy, Portugal, and the US before finally settling in Australia in 1962. Known for his abstract style, Marmol exhibited his works extensively in the eastern states or Australia before returning to Spain, where he passed away in 1994.
